Ossmoses to miss Grand National : Leading Grand National contender Ossmoses has been ruled out of the famous race at Aintree.

The Don Forster-trained horse, rated a general 16-1 chance for the contest on 14 April, has not recovered from a tendon injury sustained last month.

"We are all pretty gutted here as you can imagine," said Forster.

"But we hope he'll be back for the second half of next season so a crack at the National next year is still a possibility."
