The 2007 John Smith’s Grand National meeting sees the first use of two new stands – the Lord Sefton and the Earl Of Derby – which form the final part of Aintree’s latest exciting redevelopment.
The day’s crowd last year totalled 69,680, while a total of 148,160 racegoers – the second highest for many years – enjoyed the thrills of Aintree over the three days.
Advance badge and hospitality sales point to a similarly good attendance expected in 2007.
Ladies’ Day – Friday
Ladies’ Day at Aintree is the fastest-selling day at the John Smith’s Grand National meeting and is undeniably the social highlight in the North West of England, with style the order of the day.
Ladies’ Day, always an unforgettable experience, was attended by 51,940 racegoers last year.
Opening Day – Thursday
There is superb racing on the opening day of the John Smith’s Grand National meeting which is more relaxed than the other days but just as enjoyable.
