Bewleys Berry Trimmed by Coral

Coral  has trimmed Bewleys Berry to 11/1 (from 14/1) for Saturday's John Smith's Grand National, following decent support for the Becher Chase runner-up today.

"Although he was disappointing at Haydock last time out, Bewleys Berry has run some good races over the National fences in the past, and looks sure to give his backers a decent run for their money on Saturday," said Coral's David Stevens.

On the eve of the three-day Grand National meeting, Coral are predicting industry-wide turnover of £500 million, putting it on a par with this year's Cheltenham Festival.

"This Aintree meeting used to be all about one race, albeit the biggest betting race of the year, but now the quality of the first two days and the Saturday supporting card means betting turnover could well equal the 25 races of this year's Cheltenham Festival," said Stevens.

"The presence of equine superstars such as Kauto Star, Master Minded and Inglis Drever will ensure there is massive interest from punters in the build up to the National itself, which is now a fitting climax to a wonderful meeting," added Stevens.

**John Smith's Grand National: 11-2 Cloudy Lane, 10-1 Slim Pickings, Comply Or Die, 11-1 Simon, (from 14-1) Bewleys Berry, 14-1 Chelsea Harbour, 16-1 Butler's Cabin, Hedgehunter, Mr Pointment, King Johns Castle, 20-1 Dun Doire, McKelvey, Point Barrow, Snowy Morning, 25-1 D'Argent, Joes Edge, L'Ami, Mon Mome, Philson Run, 33-1 Bar.
