Tickets for next year’s Grand National go on sale in August 2008.

The 2009 John Smith’s Grand National meeting will be held April 2-4 at Aintree racecourse.

Aintree has introduced a new 24-hour ticket line which opens for its first ticket sales at 8am on August 4 – selling hospitality packages and season tickets. Season tickets offer racegoers a priority chance to purchase grandstand tickets for the three-day meeting plus provide access to six additional racedays in 2009. All other tickets and grandstand badges for 2009 will be available on the ticketline from 8am on August 18 and in person at Aintree’s booking office from 9am on September 1.

Tickets will also be available on www.aintree.co.uk.

Aintree managing director Julian Thick said: “By staggering the dates we have made it easier for people to obtain their desired choice.”
