Stan James saw plenty of interest in Irish challengers King John Castle (28s into 22s) and Chelsea Harbour (20s from 25s) this morning for the John Smith's Grand National at Aintree on Saturday weekand following an upbeat report from Simon Crisford in Dubai Godolphin's Ibn Khaldun has been well-supported for the Stan James 2000 Guineas but he remains an 8/1 chance for the colts' Classic.

Head of PR Charlie McCann:" If money talks it would appear that Ibn Khaldun will be the mount of Frankie Dettori at Newmarket on May 3rd and Simon Crisford's comments on the Racing Post winner this morning appear to mirror those sentiments. It is nine years since Godolphin saddled the winner of the first Classic of the season and Ibn Khaldun is likely to be the number one for the Boys In Blue in the 200th running of the Stan James sponsored 2000 Guineas at HQ next month".
