Will Cut Even Further

John Smith’s Grand National favourite My Will has been backed into as low as 6/1 for the big race on April 4.

My Will has been a market leader for the race for some time, however he has received increasing support over the last 24 hours following the confirmation that Ruby Walsh will be on board. The Paul Nicholls trained chaser has been aimed at the John Smith’s Grand National all season, and capped off his preparations with a fine fifth in the Cheltenham Gold Cup three weeks ago.

Nicholls, yet to win the world famous steeplechase, gave My Will healthy praise on Gold Cup day, and his performance staying up the hill that day assured Nicholls that My Will was ready for the John Smith’s Grand National, and has since described him as ‘his best chance for some time’

My Will is still at 15/2 with Sportingbet for the big race, although the market suggests that the value will not be available for too much longer.
